Bex Crofton-Atkins is a freelance Costume Designer based in London and Los Angeles, working in film, television, commercials and music videos.
In 2008 she graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Theatre Design. Her early work includes designing for theatre but very quickly made the transition into music videos and commercials and more recently, film and television.
Bex now regularly works for some of the top production companies in London and the US including Somesuch, Epoch, Biscuit, Pulse, and Anonymous. She has worked on many overseas location shoots including Argentina, Hong Kong, Mexico, Romania, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine and Italy and many locations around the US.
Directors include Yorgos Lanthimos, Jonathan Entwistle, Martin de Thurah, Megaforce, Gary Freedman, Traktor, The Sacred Egg, ThirtyTwo, Nick Gordon, Autumn de Wilde, Dougal Wilson, Grant Singer, Marcus Soderlund, Nabil, Rankin, We Are From LA, Us, Tomas Mankovsky, Ryan Hope, Corin Hardy and Anthony Mandler.
Bex was nominated at 2014 BRITISH ARROWS CRAFT AWARDS for ‘Best Costume Design’ for Wall’s Sausages ‘Wallsie Street’.
